Position Overview 

Roush Honda Body Shop Porters are essential to keeping our Body Shop working efficiently and keeping it a clean Environment. We expect our employees to go above and beyond the call of duty for our customers and their vehicle service needs. You'll take direction from Body Shop Associates regarding the needs of our customers and our shop. Capable of working in a fast paced, sometimes hectic environment. 


What are the day-to-day responsibilities? 

  • Assist with Quality Control of repaired vehicles.
  • Check/fill tire pressure, lights, fill washer fluid, check oil and coolant levels.
  • Drive vehicles through the car wash, clean windows and vacuum. Assist with sending them to our detail department.
  • Park/Retrieve customers' car and secure them in the PM.

·         Proper disposal of Recyclable items (we will provide a list)

·         Empty trash, clean shop and scrub floors with scrubber.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid driver's license with less than 4 points.
  • Submit to a drug screening and background check.
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Schedules can vary, currently between 8-6 Mon -Friday. Subject to change
  • Physically fit and able to lift 85lbs.

 

Environmental Conditions:

  • Exposure to moving parts.
  • Exposure to grease, chemicals, dust, dirt and the heat/cold of the outdoors.

Job Requirements: 

·         Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service

·         High School Diploma or equivalent 

·         Previous Body Shop Estimator experience is helpful

·         General knowledge of automotive operations

·         Capable of multitasking

Day-to-day responsibilities:

·         Frequent communication with Customers, Technicians, Parts Associates, Insurance-Rental Companies to ensure timely completion of work

·         Write estimates/supplements on damages to the vehicle

·         Greeting customers and gathering pertinent information

·         Assist in the drop off and pick up of customers vehicle

·         Produce repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates

·         Processing payments and creating an exceptional vehicle delivery experience for the Customer

·         Continually gain knowledge on products, repair procedures, warranties and policies and service standards

What are the requirements for Service Advisor? 

  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience

  • Prior sales experience preferred but not required 

·         Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills

·         40 to 50 hours a week

·         Hours:  2pm to midnight (close) Monday thru Thursday and 12pm to 6pm (close) on Fridays and every other Saturday 7:45am to 6pm (close)

·         Rate varies upon experience, but starting at $15.75.

The position of a Roush Honda Service Advisor is to go above and beyond for our customers coming in for service. Using exceptional face-to-face customer service and relation skills, we build a foundation for lifetime customers.  Our Service Advisors are the best in the business here at Roush Honda, and we exceed expectations with every customer we encounter.


What are the day-to-day responsibilities? 

  • Greeting, and helping customer drop their vehicle off for service in a timely manner
  • Determining vehicle needs based on customer information
  • Producing repair orders for customers with full transparency including cost and time estimates 
  • Communicating frequently with Technicians and Parts Associates to ensure timely completion of work 
  • Follow-up with customers on the status of their vehicle, based on how the Customer wants to be informed 
  • Creating a great vehicle delivery experience for the Customer 
  • Gaining superior product knowledge to effectively help Customers with service maintenance requirements and warranty information 
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty

SERVICE PORTER

·         Drive service customer cars through the car wash.

·         Retrieve customers' car when ready for pick up.

·         Check tire pressure and fill with air if needed.

·         Change wiper blades as needed for customers.

·         Top off washer fluid as needed.

·         Work 9 hour days 5 days a week (Monday - Saturday).

JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Change engine oil and filters on all models of Honda and Acura vehicles.
  2. Repair leaking tires.
  3. Replace lights and windshield wipers.
  4. Complete multi-point inspections.
  5. Wash and vacuum vehicles.
  6. Clean and maintain shop.
